Dreams come true!

When I was younger, all I ever wanted was to be a witch. Not the broomstick-and-cauldron kind (though I’d never say no to a talking cat) … But the forest-dwelling, moon-whispering, spell-writing, child-guiding kind. 🌲🌕✨
I dreamed of living among the trees, gathering stories like herbs, and spending my days helping young souls find their own kind of magic. Working with children was always easy. The witch part? That took a lot more bravery.
For a long time, I kept it quiet. I collected myths like fireflies in jars. I wrote spells in the margins of my notebooks. I watched the moon and whispered to wolves in dreams. I worried people would laugh. That I was too much … or not enough.
But the older I grew, the louder the magic hummed. So I stopped hiding.
And the most wonderful thing happened — I found my path. Now, I run a real school of witchcraft and wizardry, where learning is woven with wonder, and where children (and grown-ups too) are reminded that magic is not just something you believe in - it’s something you live.
It’s called Seanchai — pronounced shan-a-kee — which means ‘storyteller’ in Gaelic. Because stories are at the heart of everything I do. Whether I’m planning a magical lesson, supporting a student on their learning journey, making a piece of jewellery, or heading off on an adventure… it always begins, and ends with a story.
I have the best job in the world. And the little girl who once dreamed under starlight? She’s proud. And finally, home. 🌌💫
